About Us / Bio

It’s never too early or too late to start playing one of today’s fastest growing and favorite pastimes, GOLF. Golf is an activity that can be enjoyed well into a person’s golden years. Tami is a local girl, who was born and raised in Westernville, New York and was a Holland Patent Star Athlete, NCAA All American, a member of the United States Air Force All Star Athletic Team, and also served as Glynn County Georgia’s Recreation Director before setting her sights on a golf career.

Tami has owned and operated her own School of Golf for 17 years. She is a former member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional. Tami was the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at Oak Grove Island Club in Georgia and after moving to Tennessee started one of the most popular and fun camps for kids where she was the Director and Chief Instructor. Tami has had the great fortune to have met and worked with some of this country’s premier golfers, both adult and junior, some of the students she has taught have gone on to college on full scholarships and others on partial, all have graduated or will gradute with honors.

She is also the Founder  and Director of the TeeShot Foundation, a non-profit organization to help young athletes achieve their life goals through the world of golf. Tami also helped plan and start  the Bonnie Blackburn Girls Golf Fest which is now permanently funded by an Endowment though the Tennessee Golf Foundation.

Tami can teach a beginner to play and a seasoned veteran to improve at golf. Tami is looking forward to working with the golfers here in Central New York.
